What's is he??

You always get it with Airedales I don't know what it is about them but people always ask?? What is he?

My reply we she an Airedale Terrier!

There reply oh my nan old next door neighbour used to have one of them!! Never recent but that's not a bad thing!

But today completely different reply, 'really she doesn't look like one!'

Ha! Well I will admit indie is a little 'fluffy' at the moment hence the airecut this week but really how can you not see it in her!

I nearly replied sorry I meant she's a Labrador or something would someone really think I would lie about the breed of my own dog!!

Toast!

Indie has a certain love affair with toast!

It has to have butter and preferably marmite on it and she is suddenly the most obedient dog in the world!

She will follow you round, with the most perfect heal so to make sure she gets the crusts.

She watches as you eat not taking her eyes of of you and If you not eating fast enough a little moan comes out, hurry up I want the crusts.

The problem is I only do two slices and she has all the crusts ( to keep her hair curly) so on special occasions I do three so there is more to share around, she loves me the most on these days!

The sun came out

Today it felt like spring was coming as the sun, yes the sun was out.

Was a lovely day so Indie and I went for a walk up to our favourite place, the nature reserve!

- note from Indie ' Sarah only likes it as its got a bench to sit in the sun'.

The place is so peaceful an we could easily, well I could, sit up there for hours!

As we headed out the nature reserve we went via the doggy graves. Doesn't sound nice but its the people who owned the ground originally (we think) history of there much beloved family pets.

It a place to be reflective and remember we still have each other!

Was lovely and we continued our walk really appreciative of each other.

Sorry sorry sorry

Sorry we haven't blogged for a while, life got a bit busy and we forgot to blog.

This year we (Indie and I) promise to blog more and share the wonderful things we do together!

As an update Indie is now 3 and starting to grow up (well a little). The fear of objects has subsided a little but we still don't like buses and fireworks. I can understand this!

So welcome back to Indie and I's blog.
